I made mini cheesecake cupcakes (apple and strawberry) and a bunch of regular cupcakes - lemon with cream cheese, carrot with italian buttercream, chocolate with oreo cookies and cream frosting, s'mores and french vanilla with coffee frosting.
And of course I made specialty cupcakes: 1 was a child theme cupcake (Hello Kitty and Kerope) and 1 was a classical shower or wedding specialty cupcake with flowers/pearls.
As far as the cake raffle, I made 3 specialty cakes - one was an oversized cupcake sitting on a cherry pie, one was a shoe sitting on top of a shoebox and 1 was a zebra patterned handbag.

A couple of days later, I had the BIG CAKE for London Lennie's 50th Anniversary. At first I thought I was going to do a cake just as a showpiece. Nothing big. Maybe a couple of lobsters and fish? Boy, did I have that all wrong. The restaurant owner wanted a cake to represent their 50 years of service as well as the owner's mother's 80th birthday all combined into one. We couldn't figure out how we could combine the 2 so I showed them my 2-sided cake. They loved it! So on one side, they wanted the red-carpet themed cake with the front of their storefront and on the other side they wanted a "travel theme" because Mrs B. (the owner's mother) Looooooved traveling.

I was super stressed out over this cake because I wanted to impress everyone and because I didn't have enough time due to the raffle/cupcake party a couple of days prior but I was very pleased with the end product. ^_^
The cake sat on a rotating turntable.

On the travel side - I wanted to do air, land and water sitting on top of a luggage bag.

London Lennies was transformed into a chic lounge atmosphere. They did a great job. It was absolutely stunning... I wish I could've stayed. ) :

Next big thing on my agenda - CITIFIELD...
